All residents receive a full range of services during their stay at MediLodge of Monroe, including:


Our board-certified physical, occupational, and speech therapists help residents rehabilitate to the highest level possible. Our large therapy team enables us to make individual rehabilitation plans for each resident, track their progress, and discuss therapeutic goals with each person’s family. In addition, our nursing, activity, and social services teams work closely with our therapists to ensure that each resident receives coordinated, holistic attention designed to help them improve throughout every day of their stay. MediLodge of Monroe utilizes state-of-the-art equipment and proactive therapy model to help ensure that residents get the best available treatment for a speedy recovery.


Staff nurses provide clinical assessment, medication administration, wound treatment, assistance with IVs, dementia care, and palliative end-of-life care. Staff nurses maintain open communication with attending physicians to allow prompt intervention as physical conditions may change. Nursing staff includes RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). MediLodge of Monroe’s high staffing model translates to better customer service for our residents and their families. Our nursing staff ratios are among the highest in Michigan.


Our physicians are in the building at least four days per week. During this time, they not only care for residents, but work with staff and families, too. Any time a resident needs a bit more care, our dedicated physicians communicate directly with families—either in person or via a phone call. In addition, our physicians offer short educational seminars on timely topics that help families learn how to care for aging parents. Offering this level of education and care helps everyone sleep better at night.
